Trezor Enables CoinJoin Privacy Feature for Bitcoin Users

Cold wallet provider Trezor has partnered with privacy-enhanced Wasabi Wallet to integrate CoinJoin into its Model T product. CoinJoin allows obfuscation of a transaction’s origin and destination, improving privacy and anonymity for users. The service is fee-based, costing around 0.3% per transaction, but requires a limit of one bitcoin to be transacted to avoid unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs). The development makes Trezor the first hardware wallet to implement the CoinJoin protocol.
