Nike’s new digital platform, .SWOOSH, has released its first digital collection called Our Force 1 (OF1), which was created by the .SWOOSH community. The collection marks Nike’s 50th anniversary in business and is split up into two digital boxes: the Classic Remix Box and the New Wave Box, each holding a digital Our Force 1 for $19.82. The Classic Remix Box allows members to select a classic archive AF1 from the years 1982 to 2006, while the New Wave Box offers access to a classic archive from 2007. Nike has various ways to purchase the OF1 box, including an airdrop of AF1 posters on April 18, with selection made randomly on May 8. For the .SWOOSH community, the date is May 10. According to the General Manager of Nike Virtual Studios, Ron Faris, Nike’s OF1 collection is meant to showcase the brand’s continual innovation and connection between play and culture. Faris believes that .SWOOSH will lead the way toward the future of storytelling and bonding.
