Shin Kamen Rider Finally Gets a U.S. Release Date

Hideaki Anno’s radical re-imagining of legendary Japanese superhero series, Shin Kamen Rider, will be distributed in the US by Fathom Events as a limited screening event on May 31. The film follows the story of Takeshi Hongo, who wakes as a cyborg and becomes Kamen Rider – a superhero capable of taking on the mysterious organisation SHOCKER. This is Anno’s first solo Shin re-imagining franchise movie. The tickets for the screenings will be on sale from May 5.
