Russia has warned South Korea that any military aid to Ukraine would constitute “indirect involvement” in the conflict, adding that such a move would be “unfriendly”. South Korea currently provides non-lethal and humanitarian aid to Ukraine but indicated on Wednesday that it was open to the possibility of military aid in the event of a “large-scale attack on civilians”. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Seoul’s decision would “indirectly mean involvement in this conflict” while former leader Dmitry Medvedev also criticised the move, suggesting that Moscow could send “latest Russian arms” to North Korea in retaliation.
