Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, led a march in Poland to honor victims and survivors of the Holocaust. The march, which took place around Auschwitz-Birkenau, is an annual remembrance of the largest Nazi concentration camp during World War II. Kraft’s delegation included rapper Meek Mill, who was released from prison in 2018 with Kraft advocating for his sentence to be commuted. Kraft is the founder of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism and his participation in events honoring Holocaust victims and survivors can help combat the rising trend of antisemitic incidents, which increased by 36% in the United States in 2022, according to a report by the Anti-Defamation League. Normalizing such events and honoring those impacted by the Holocaust is critical.
