Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Kylian Mbappe has recently aligned himself with the renowned German luxury brand Rimowa. This partnership is marking an expansion of his influence beyond the football field.
Mbappe’s summer was in the headlines as he was seeking a move away from PSG. It was a saga that prompted the Ligue 1 champions to relegate him to their reserves temporarily. This situation arose as Mbappe staunchly refused to budge on his decision not to renew his contract with the club.
According to reports from Essentially Sport, Mbappe is now set to feature prominently in Rimowa’s advertising campaign alongside luminaries like Formula One legend Lewis Hamilton and Rosé from the popular South Korean girl group Blackpink.
Rimowa’s advertising campaign, under the musical direction of Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, was launched on September 7, aiming to encapsulate the brand’s luxury and sophistication.
Interestingly, since his return to the first team, Mbappe has made an emphatic statement on the pitch, netting four goals in just three appearances for PSG. Intriguingly, there are even speculations circulating that he might consider extending his contract with the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
He was increasingly linked with a move to Real Madrid and Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal. Although a move to Los Blancos still remains a possibility, he quickly denied his move to the Middle East as he didn’t want to play there. Al Hilal signed PSG’s Neymar instead.
Mbappe’s decision to join forces with Rimowa underscores his growing influence in the realms beyond football. His stance during the transfer saga, coupled with his impressive return to form with PSG, has only heightened the intrigue surrounding his future in the world of football.
