Outright Games teams with UNICEF to support vulnerable children

Outright Games and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have partnered to support vulnerable children around the world through the sale of video game bundles featuring the biggest names in kids’ entertainment. The partnership aims to raise at least $248,963 per year, with the first video game charity bundle going on sale from April 28. The bundle features popular games from Hasbro, including Transformers Battlegrunds, My Friend Peppa Pig and PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night, with all profits going to UNICEF. Outright Games’ licensing partners will provide more high-profile video game charity bundles in 2023. Outright Games creates family-friendly video games that are safe for all ages and feature the biggest kids’ entertainment franchises. UNICEF supports education, health, and nutrition, and responds to the needs of children impacted by conflict and natural disasters. This agreement between Outright Games and UNICEF will leverage the former’s access to iconic TV and film children’s brands to raise money for UNICEF’s Resources for Results Fund. The Fund helps to pioneer new ideas to address challenges faced by children globally, enabling UNICEF to rapidly support those in need during humanitarian emergencies. Other major activities will take place throughout the year around key milestones, as well as fundraising efforts from Outright Games’ global teams and charity livestreams from Outright Games ambassadors. Beth Goss, CEO of Outright Games, said the partnership aimed to “improve the lives of all children across the world,” while Mohini Raichura-Brown, Deputy Executive Director of Partnerships & Philanthropy at the UK Committee for UNICEF, said she was “proud” of the partnership bringing “employees and a dedicated customer base together to help UNICEF continue to make a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children.”
