Collection.xyz, a new decentralized exchange for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) has been launched on the Ethereum network. Unlike first-generation NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea and LooksRare, Collection.xyz features liquidity pools and automatic market maker features, similar to those found on decentralized finance protocols like Uniswap and Curve. The platform also offers customized trading options that allow traders to specify which NFTs they want to accept based on unique traits or rarity. Collection.xyz aims to make the purchase and sale of NFTs more efficient by enabling composability between itself and other protocols. The platform has been audited by ABDK Consulting, which counts Uniswap, GMX, and CitaDAO among its clients. Collection.xyz is also seeking to involve NFT community members in market-making activities and offers a solution to the NFT royalties debate by linking royalties payout to the liquidity in the creator’s collection’s pools.
