The New York Giants have ten selections in the 2023 NFL Draft and have made several additions to their team, including Darren Waller and Bobby Okereke. However, they still have needs at several positions, including wide receiver, interior offensive line, pass rush, linebacker, and secondary. Three bold predictions for the Giants in the draft are drafting former blue-chip DT Bryan Bresee, choosing Alabama safety Jordan Battle, and adding Tyler Scott to their receiver corps. Bresee is an adaptable player who could fill the void left by Dalvin Tomlinson alongside Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams. Battle is a versatile third safety who could potentially start in the right scheme and also serve as a “big nickel” player. Scott is an explosive vertical threat with good route-running skills and would benefit from free releases, given that he played mostly as an “X” in Cincinnati’s spread RPO system. The Giants have a low-key need for a defensive lineman and with the potential impact that Bresee can make, he might just be the ideal candidate to join their three-man front. Additionally, the Giants still need more depth in their pass-catching department and Tyler Scott’s athleticism and track background could be pivotal in bringing more success to their receiver corps.
