NFL Analyst Shares Concerning Justin Fields Comparison

The Chicago Bears have made some notable moves this offseason, including trading their No. 1 draft pick to the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver D.J. Moore and additional draft capital. They have also signed running back D’Onta Foreman to boost their offense. The team’s hopes largely rest on the development of quarterback Justin Fields, who has not lived up to expectations in his two seasons with the team. Analyst Michael Lombardi has compared Fields’ stats to those of Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills, who has not shown much potential. However, Fields is a strong runner and helped lead the Bears to first in rushing yards last season. He needs to improve greatly as a passer in order for the team to succeed, but some observers believe he has the potential to make a big jump forward with the right resources. In college, Fields was a prolific passer, throwing for over 5,000 yards and 63 touchdowns in two seasons with Ohio State.
