NYX Professional Makeup is releasing its Dream Vortex NFT collection on April 27 through GORJS and OpenSea. The collection, which consists of 4,150 unique NFTs, is the first artist collection for the GORJS beauty DAO. Nine artists were chosen based on their talents, exceptional expertise, and global impact on the 3D avatar community to create the collection. Members can unlock their NFTs’ unique traits and utilities, such as phygital art, exclusive IRL experiences, and more by completing quests to earn GORJS ‘crowns.’ Using the DAO’s Treasury funds, the Team Alpha artists were paid an upfront stipend to work on their collections and will receive royalties on all primary and secondary sales. Also, the nine artists will retain full ownership of their unique avatar IP. NYX Professional Makeup is leveraging several powerful key players in the Web3 space, such as OpenSea, The Sandbox, Polygon, QuestN, Infinite Objects, Hologram and Rory Rockmore jewelry, to partner for Dream Vortex. Dream Vortex is helping cultivate interoperability and creating users’ digital Web3 identity. The collection reveals the unique NFTs and creates an engaging experience for buyers. Members will have to burn their NFT pass after they have minted to reveal the artwork and traits. Once members reveal their own avatar, they can use the GORJS crowns they received from engaging with the community to unlock utilities tied to avatar traits.
