The NFL Draft is just one week away and quarterbacks are, as usual, the most talked-about position in the pre-draft conversation. Teams are hoping to find their future franchise quarterback, but each player needs to be developed differently for long-term success. Hendon Hooker, a quarterback from Tennessee, has seen his stock rise of late, with talks of him going in the back end of the first round or the second round at worst. Despite suffering a torn ACL, Hooker threw for 3,135 yards and 27 touchdowns with two interceptions in 11 games, completing an impressive 69.6% of his passes. Hooker models his game after legendary NFL quarterbacks Randall Cunningham and Vince Young, both known for their skill as dual-threat quarterbacks. Like many kids, Hooker grew up admiring Young, who is considered one of the best college quarterbacks of all time. As the draft approaches, Hooker is hoping to hear his name called and begin carving out his career in the NFL.
