Serbia’s EXIT Festival has teamed up with ticketing service provider NFT-TiX for a multi-year partnership. Through the partnership, tickets for the festival will come in the form of NFTs with users able to authenticate and trade them. The blockchain-backed tickets aim to tackle issues such as counterfeit tickets and overpriced black markets. In addition to standard NFT passes, ten “ultra-VIP humanitarian NFT tickets” priced at €10,000 each will be launched. This includes first-class events such as a personal host, backstage access to artists and performers, access to VIP Gold zones and the exclusive dance arena lounge. Furthermore, NFTs offer exclusive access to a wide range of gated content, marking a potential contribution to expanding the music NFT community. This year’s EXIT festival will take place between 6 and 9 July at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia.
