This was Bellinger’s fourth home run and 20th hit of the season. The Dodgers’ James Outman also hit a 420-foot home run in the top of the third inning, taking a 2-1 lead. Despite this, the Cubs tied the game in the fourth inning, but were unable to secure the win. The game ended with the Dodgers winning 6-2, with Outman hitting a grand slam in the top of the ninth inning. Bellinger’s home run added to his .290 batting average, .367 on-base percentage, .507 slugging percentage, four home runs, 13 RBI, 15 runs scored, and 20 hits for the season.
