Blizzard will let you try ‘Diablo IV’ once more ahead of its June launch

Blizzard is running a 48-hour “Server Slam” event for Diablo IV from May 12 to 14, which will enable players on consoles and Windows PCs to explore the game’s prologue and Act I before its 6 June launch. Moreover, the event will offer support for cross-play and cross-progression, all five character classes, including Barbarian, Druid, Sorcerer, Rogue and Necromancer, but with a level cap of 20. Characters can still earn gear but, after level 20, no additional ability points are awarded. Players who took part in the beta tests for the game will also have unique opportunities to obtain trophies, including the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy. The new game has been receiving positive feedback, but Blizzard’s reputation has been damaged by its recent controversies, leaving questions to be answered.
