London-based fintech start-up BABB has created the Hybrid Money Account, a platform allowing users to handle cryptocurrencies, stablecoins and fiat money all in one application. The company’s BABB Money Account aims to help the economically disadvantaged to access financial services and to promote financial inclusion globally. Anyone can open an account and transact with others with no fees, and manage a diversified portfolio within the app. The account’s speedy registration is intended to encourage people who find it difficult to access traditional financial services to sign up. BABB is part of a trend of financial institutions turning to blockchain for more cost-effective and efficient systems, CEO Rushd Averroes said.
