Two people were killed and three injured at a cockfight in Hawaii, which started with an argument between three young men that became physical with six members of a group known for organising chicken fights in the Waianae area. As the event ended, somebody started shooting, according to court documents relating to Jacob Borge, one of two suspects who turned themselves in to the police. Borge, 23, was charged with murder, attempted murder and firearms offences; a petition was filed against the 16-year-old for the same charges. Despite being illegal, cockfighting is a popular pastime in Hawaii. GoFundMe pages have been set up for two of the victims.
