Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, a remake of the popular military turn-based strategy game, is set to release on April 21st, 2023, for Nintendo Switch. The game features two campaigns that follow the events of the original Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. In addition, the game includes full voiceovers for the commanding officers and a variety of game modes such as Versus Mode, Online Mode, War Room, Design Room, and Hachi’s Shop. This remake marks the 13th release in the series and follows the game’s debut in 1988 as Famicom Wars. The bundle contains two games: Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. The first game in the series centers around the Orange Star Nation being attacked by the neighboring Blue Moon, while the second game focuses on a mysterious force threatening Cosmo Land. Players can take down enemies and defend their land by utilizing their Commanding Officers’ special abilities. This remake was initially slated for an April 8, 2022 release date, but it was pushed back to 2023 after being featured in a Nintendo Direct live stream in early 2022.
